A correction to my above post...
Service 38 will have frequency reduced from 15-minutes to 12-minutes, not 10 as in my original post.

Re: FMR: Tridents Going to Kernow?
The other reduction is double-deck requirement will be coming from reduced demand on the S23 service. It seems the new college on the old Leyland/Rover site in Longbridge as had a big impact on Worcester Sixth Form College, as a large number of Bromsgrove pupils are choosing to go there instead.

Re: Withdrawn Coach 20201
20201 is still in the same spot, but there are some developments. It looks like the decision that the vehicle was uneconomical to repair may have been reversed. No suitable replacement has been found but it would seem that someone has decided they would like to keep their share of the rail replaceme...

Re: BMMO S23 5941
I think your photograph is older than that. 5941 went on loan to BaMMOT on 22nd July 1984, and that become it's new home. It remained in the ownership of Central Works for several years but I don't think it returned there before it passed to BaMMOT ownership. In 1986? I was 14-years old so still in ...

Re: BMMO S23 5941
I would have loved to have a look around there. Is that a white Leyland National in the background?

Re: FMR: Tridents Going to Kernow?
33042 still parked indoors with most of the engine in bits. I suspect they are waiting parts. Meanwhile I can now confirm they will not be replaced at Worcester so the double-deck allocation will reduce by two. One likely "saving" will be the Service 363 that is run with a double-deck for ...

Re: What Chassis Is This?
Thank you Tim, I have looked at that photo and I would agree it is the same chassis, just photographed from a different angle. I have also looked at a PSV Circle / Omnibus Society book from 1959 which has quite a bit of detail on the buses but basically says all four had various two-pedal setups whe...

FMR Service Changes September 2016
OK, all the necessary paperwork has been filed in all the right places so I'm free to post a summary of the changes here. I don't have copies of the timetables yet. Service 32 Minor timetable changes to add extra journeys between Worcester City Centre and St. Peter's to replace that section of the S...

What Chassis Is This?
One for the true Midland Red experts... I was sent this photograph some time ago of a BMMO chassis and it's puzzled me as to which model it was from. The "SOS" radiator would suggest it is pre-war, but the under-floor engine layout is clearly post-war. An early S6 maybe but with an older s...
