Just shows how serious the situation is, I am afraid. I hear Sea View Coaches of Poole have also collapsed. I fear there will be more to come and the knock on effects on other businesses are likely to have quite an impact too.

The currently suspended 202 (Halesowen to Bromsgrove) is to recommence on 1st June renumbered as 44. It will no longer serve Rednal, Lickey or Lickey End but will run via Lydiate Ash, Catshill and the Princess of Wales Hospital into Bromsgrove. A brilliant description, Tim and I agree with every word except I didn't have to stand to drive Liverpool 869 as It had the luxury of a wooden seat, I'd say quite unusual for a tram built in 1936. So West Midlands Railway has announced more cuts from next week including the complete withdrawal of all services between Hereford and Worcester, this despite Great Western claiming that they had been assured that they would continue running local trains before withdrawing their services on the line...
