Re: More Mercedes Ciratos

Any more news on these extra Citaros Worcester are getting ? I asked on another forum and was told that Leicester aren’t expecting any of Worcester’s Streetlites - they are expecting Streetlites and Volvos from West of England, and I think some Streetlites from South Yorkshire.

Re: More Mercedes Ciratos

Update fro the MD - there are NINE Mercedes to come to Worcester, all to be refurbished -I didn't find out where they are coming from. Random thought came to me earlier, could these be from Yourbus Derby. They were advertising some for sale last year in a magazine, pretty sure they haven’t sold the...

Re: More Mercedes Ciratos

But as First seem to be investing in new buses for Kernow it could well happen. 19 plate Enviro 200 mmc would be a better bet for Truro P&R. Thus giving Worcester some newer replacements for buses that are them selves newer. This of course is if Kernow is making enough to get new buses. It woul...

Re: More Mercedes Ciratos

Well a Slough don’t have 09 plates - all of theirs have been recently repainted too! 64019 is a 2003 build which carries a blue frontal livery 64020 is a 2004 build, of sister to Nimrod 21 which carries a yellow frontal livery 64030-9 are the 2007s that surround Worcester’s spares - all have coloure...

Re: Engine Upgrades

In regards to older vehicles being upgraded, NXWM have upgraded 51 plate Volvo B7TLs and 52 plate Tridents to Euro 6 so I assume Worcester’s are possible too 8-) The best thing to come out of this for me will be a largely improved variety on the 144 again, of course when Salt Roads are not available...

Re: 33043

It’s also the lowest seating capacity being an ex London bus with short wheel base. Something which I dont understand why First continue to specify. In Bristol, Glasgow and Kernow where the newest MMC400s are, they are mainly short wheelbase, with just 8 regular seats on the lowest floor space, plu...

Re: TRACKING !

I’ve been watching this site grow for many months now, back in early November I noticed a few bus types were added to some Midland Classic vehicles. Ever since I have watched it grow and have been waiting for First Worcestershire, and hopefully the rest of NXWM to be added soon, so pretty much know ...

Re: FMR Mercedes Citaro acquisitions

5 Citaros noted today, 64035 which I believe hasn’t worked yet, with an engineer passed through Crowngate before disappearing, presumably back to depot. 64021/45 on 35 as they should be, plus 64013 on there and 64018 on 33. Some photos attached below - 64035 at Crowngate and 64021/18, 64013 and 6404...
