Re: 100 Years of 144 celebration 15 October 2014

When I did my "Job Swap" day, it was mentioned by a member of the bodyshop team that drivers seemed to look after 33404 and it was a pity that all the fleet wasn't painted the same - I'm all for that.

Re: Leyland Leopard S28 on eBay

Would be good for someone in the Worcester area to acquire it as it was new to Padmore Street in May 1974 principally for the X43/4 services. If I win the EuroLottery tonight, I will be putting in a bid.

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts

I would like to see more double deckers in use - perhaps you can persuade Network Rail to raise the bridges at The Chequers, Tolladine Road and Newtown Road, your wish might come true.

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts

Just seen a longer feature on Midlands Today, featuring 42894 on the 363 at Welland, with Tom Wells and a young passenger stating how important the bus service is. Also a longer interview with MD Nigel Eggleton stating the companies case. It appears that the 363 has received a 6 month partial reprie...

Re: Autumn 2018 service changes/cuts

Basically he said that a bus company cannot run services where there are only 2 or 3 passengers, and cutting services that are not used makes economic sense
