Re: Improved services in 2025

It was the 352 which ran from Worcester to Earls Common, did it a few times on a Saturday afternoon after being directions(?) by Dougie Hyde, then went OOS to Droitwich to do some locals.

Re: First Midland Brown buses

Apparently around 40 buses were hand washed on Sunday, with the rest to be done this weekend. Hope you noticed the difference!

Re: Vocal passenger address system

It’s unnerving when you have an empty bus, and a voice comes out of the blue and scares the s**t out of you! I had one of these systems on a E300 on Saturday, when I got to Bracken Grove, theoretically the end of the route, it announced loudly “this service terminates here, all passengers to alight”...

It was nice to see it move under its own power, albeit empty, such a shame it’s proposed work at Padmore Street was cancelled.

Re: Midland Red 120 event 6 Oct. 2024 at Wythall

Tim. - hope all went well today, I’ve had a couple of endoscopy procedures this year, not something I want to undertake again in a hurry. However, the day at Wythall was superb, and was extremely well patronised, with large queues forming for the bus rides. The only vintage bus I rode on was 6015, w...

Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024

We have been told not to go into the 6th form college, and also, X38's from the hospital are to go the normal route, not via the Oncology unit, as none of the vehicles can get round without grounding. So back to 30 minutes round the hospital, and missing out the next trip!!!!! Such is progress.

Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024

The Volvos were used in an event at Millbrook vehicle testing centre, unfortunately I don’t know where that is, and we’re due to return to Worcester before being transferred to I assume will be Bristol.

Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024

We’ve got around 10 at the moment.

I start at 6.30 in the morning, so I should be lucky and get a bus, don’t think the 7.30 starters will be as lucky!
