Re: At last a vehicle at Worcester that isn’t a Streetshite
ALSO, - I believe there is an age limit for D'Deckers used on the Hay on Wye Festival services, -- so is THIS the year we hand over the work to Stagecoach ??

Re: At last a vehicle at Worcester that isn’t a Streetshite
I've just driven past the "patch" and noticed the rear of one of the E300 (Mkll)s, and thought how suitable it looks for just "slapping on" a DIAMOND sticker ! I've wanted WR to have E400s ever since First started buying them in 2005, but I will miss seeing the StreetDecks. From ...

Re: Funding for Worcestershire Transport
Thanks Tim and Adam for those helpful replies.
I still see "too many negatives", so I hope that the current First management are a lot more positive thinking than me ( - despite the StreetLites ! )

Funding for Worcestershire Transport
https://www.route-one.net/news/local-transport-fund-will-bring-4-7-billion-to-north-and-midlands/ I cannot remember if this tranche of £ has been discussed yet on this forum, but this £209 million for Worcestershire has the POTENTIAL to help Worcester and South Worcestershire buses. There is, unfort...

A little bit of progress !
https://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/council-services/travel-and-highways/bus-travel-worcestershire/worcestershire-local-bus-news I believe the local bus news section above is new, and marks a return of the county council providing updates in the right pace (although it remains to be seen how comprehen...

Re: Vehicle Replacements 2024
StreetLite 47631 has just been transferred here according to bustimes.org  Excuse me for "quoting myself" but but I think it's appropriate to add here that 47640+42 have now also been added. A photo of them at WR has just appeared on Facebook.

Vehicle Replacements 2024
I don't like what I see on bustimes.org -- that as well as ALL the Mercedes Citaros, 66691 has also been withdrawn, - so far presumably replaced by one of the inherited short Street-Lites. I had hoped that by now we would have been receiving newer, full-size, middle to heavyweight single-deckers sui...

32644 paint job.
Does anyone know if 32644 is still running around in it's original paint ?? IE -- has it never been repainted ? I've looked at the "willow-leaf, or wand", and I THINK it might be the original "longer, shallower version (?) but I guess it could have received an early repaint with that ...

Re: "Operational Issues"
Thanks bmmoboy, but it wasn't just Sunday, it was 3 cancellations on Friday afternoon, several on Saturday (see the W.News link above) and one this morning.
