Re: 69449

Many thanks... got back to the UK on Wednesday but had already applied to come back whilst traveling in France. Job is available but the replies from the company are slow at the moment. Yes I'll start posting again as soon as I start back and keep you updated with progress. Some of you know that I w...

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

Hi DD... there's a bit of a staff shortage at the moment and it's not going to get any better next month.. We've no idea who our new engineering director us going to be. I'm hoping Carl Woolley stays but it's unlikely. I'm assuming things are going to be a bit different next year when I come back to...

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

Here's one that came last week from Leicester. 69381 landed here with 2 big holes in the cylinder block due to no4 conrod throwing itself out of the game. I've got a spare block hidden away but due to time restraints ( I'm leaving again to spend winter in Portugal the first week of November) it was ...

Re: Disposals 2022

Re: E200s

The 2x E200s are not bad really but obviously as we don't keep a single part for them apart from an oil filter we've been waiting for bits. It been decided that before they go into service they need CCTV , handbrake warning systems and greenroad fitting.

Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester

37486 returned home after having a new set of timing gears fitted. It's back breaking work on a decker due to the limited height of the area where I do them. Started instantly and ran really well on its road test. 69463 arrived as a runner but had huge crankcase pressure problems. I ended up replaci...

Re: David Morris R.I.P.

I met Mr Morris once whilst I was lying under a Hereford Dart in the middle of Bromyard.
He asked if I needed any help and told me that if I ever needed any assistance out on the road that I was to call him. A sad loss...
