Re: Visiting Buses at Worcester
Yes I'm back for 6 months or so. Was good to see Adam and Jeremy, thanks both for popping in. 37261 is here after a major engine failure but alas the cost of the parts to put it right is getting close to the price for a Volvo recon unit so an new engine is on its way. Shame really as I have not buil...

Re: 42892 and its replacement.
Yep she's finished with unfortunately. The replacement bus needs an engine, all the brake shoes replacing and a set of spring bushes. We've got most of an engine which we pulled out of storage tonight and I seem to recall that it's a good one. The engine and box is out of the baby Dart ready to swap...

Re: 6015
Hi Kim, she sailed through a class 6 MOT with flying colours. My conductor kept the ministry man busy throughout the test. The examiner was an ex Bournemouth bus mechanic and grew up working on fleetlines back in the 70s. It drives really well and sounded lovely pulling up Bath road. We've got it at...

The Gardner would look awesome in purple... but I'm sure JP would dissaprove almost as much as my suggestion that the bus would make a good camper

Re: 6015
Thanks for posting the photo Tim -- it's rather ironic that 6015 has been here at WR for quite a long time now, but hardly ever on "the patch", -- but that's a good thing in that it's been protected from the elements, and hasn't attracted vandals !! - MOT next week IF they can get the platform door...

Re: 31782
Its arrived here to have a bad oil leak sorted. Currently waiting for a genuine crankseal to arrive then I can put it back together and send it home. I've also fitted new engine mountings and stripped and resealed the timing case. The tool to install the seal was £700 🤫 Its not my first b9, we had a...

Re: 6015
Hi all, yep as Adam stated JP and I have stripped and rebuilt the brakes and now have a really good brake test result, 2nd gear now working, engine mountings sorted, boot hinges repaired, boot lock repaired, rear axle bump stop replaced, steering idler replaced by John and the list goes on.. Interio...
