Midland Red North: Fleet Index
Midland Red (North) Limited was formed on 6th September 1981, following the brake up of MROC. The company was formed with 230 vehicles and six depots at Cannock, Stafford, Tamworth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Wellington, operating ex-MROC services in West Midlands, Shropshire (including Telford Development Corporation) and Staffordshire.

When Midland Red (MROC) was split up in September 1981, Midland Red North acquired 21 Daimler Fleetline double-decker buses. All of these vehiceles were withdrawn by Midland Red North shortly after privateisation in 1987. - Ford R192

Leyland Tiger - MAN SG192
In 1984 Midland Red (North) Limited acquired five MAN SG192 Articulated buses for use at their Canock depot. These vehicles has previously been used by a number of NBC companys, including Midland Red Express and Midland Red West, as demonstrators.
