- Acquired by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company
Limited (BMMO — Midland “Red”) in 1912 from the
City of Birmingham Tramways Company Limited and converted
for bus use.
- Opened on 25th May 1912, as the company’s
headquarters, with an initial allocation of three Tilling-Stevens
TTA1 double-deck motor omnibuses (R/Nos:
O 8200-8202)
- Allocation of over 70 vehicles by 1914.
- Site and 30 vehicles sold to the Birmingham Corporation
in October 1914, wth all staff, remaining vehicles and administration
duties moving to Bearwood depot.
