Markfield Depot
Shaw Lane, Markfield (behind the Flying Horse Pub, A511)
- Acquired by Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company
Limited (BMMO — Midland “Red”) on 16th March
1963, with the business of Browns Blue Coaches Limited,
operated as an outstation to Coalville
depot, using depot code
CE.
Note: BMMO did not acquired the Browns Blue fleet of over 50 buses and coaches. A number of BMMO S14 and BMMO D7 buses transfered to Markfield to take over services. - Vehicle allocation of 11 double-deck and 2 single-deck buses by February 1967.
- Closed on 30th June 1968, with vehicles and staff moving to Coalville depot.
- Site now occupied by Spencers Haulage.
