Important Notice

On 16th June 2016 the servers that host the MidlandRed.net website were upgraded and no longer support older 32-bit applications. The result was that many parts of the website stopped working, including the vehicle database, timetables and the log-in section of the forum. While I wrote the vehicle database and timetable sections myself and have been able to upgrade them to 64-bit, the forum was written by a third-party company that stopped trading in 2008 and is therefore no longer supported.

Members are no longer able to log on to the forum, and as you need to be a member to post, download attachments and access the private members area, all these areas of the forum are now regrettably beyond reach.

A New Forum has now gone live, but members will need to register a new account to use it.

Now in service is V129MEV,  an Alexander ALX400 'decker,  which according to Buses magazine, is a Dennis Trident.
There are two more on site, but I do not know if these will stay with Astons.

A wonderfully "traditional" sight yesterday, in use with Astons on Upton school services,  in London Transport RED, was X311NNO - another Dennis Trident/ ALX400.
